Memphis Jones will celebrate BB King's birthday in style, performing at the Ol Man River Moonshine Ball on September 16th. Following the successful end to the long-running Blues Ball, creator and Memphis music patron, Pat Kerr-Tigrett, has announced the Ol Man River Moonshine Ball to bring attention to all that is happening in Memphis, including the recent filming of the Million Dollar Quartet CMT series, Gibson naming Memphis as the first GuitarTown of 2017, the new "Take Me to the River" documentary and the upcoming opening of the new Guest House at Graceland as well as the effort to save Aretha Franklin's birthplace.
The high-profile event will take place at Gibson Guitar Factory. Memphis will appear alongside artists such as Jason D. Williams, Eddie Floyd and Al Kapone. Moon walking Buzz Aldrin is an honored guest of the night as well as EPE's Jack Soden.
