Burning up the Blues Highway

Memphis Jones began 2015 with 9,000 of his closest friends at Winterfest in Virginia and hasn't slowed down since! His spring schedule takes him from Canada to New Orleans and also includes his two weekly shows on Beale Street starting in March.

As a favorite in both the birthplace of blues as well as the birthplace of the King of Rock & Roll, Memphis travels the Blues Highway from Memphis to Tupelo throughout the year, ensuring music fans from around the world a window into the stories and legends that originate in the southern USA.

He recently performed with his band at the grand opening of The Gateway To the Blues Museum in Tunica, Mississippi. The museum opened in January to tell the remarkable story of how the The Blues were born, and it features Memphis onscreen in the Blues Lyric Interactive exhibit where he assists visitors in the creation and recording of their very own blues song.

What you might not know about Memphis Jones is that he is not only a professional fan but his social media might is award-winning! He tweets for The Gateway To the Blues and MyTupelo. His High 5 Friday Twitter hashtag won Tupelo a Social Media Campaign of the Year award in 2014.
